OCRF has supported 90 projects since forming in early 2020. The maximum allowable grant request for the remaining 2021-2023 biennium will be $50,000 per project application. The OCRF Committee is updating their expenditure framework, criteria for the selection process, application form and examples of successful project applications. These updated materials will be available on the Committee's website on Aug. 12, 2022, when the request for proposals officially opens.
The Oregon Conservation and Recreation Fund (OCRF) is a public-private partnership that supports projects to implement the Oregon Conservation Strategy and connect people with the outdoors. The Advisory Committee provides recommendations on expenditures from the OCRF to the Oregon Fish and Wildlife Commission. More information on the OCRF can be found at OregonIsAlive.org.
