Electronic Licensing System (ELS) Agent Letter

Oct. 31, 2018

RE: New Agent Agreement
Dear Agent:
Thank you all for returning the Agent agreement.  Enclosed is an executed copy.  Your continued support has helped ensure Oregon coverage.  We have approximately 75% of agents indicating they will continue as of October 15, 2018.  As the project moves forward, there are several updates we’d like to provide:

  • Because the production system will not be operational until the weekend of 12/1/18, ODFW understands it may take a little time for set-up and encourages agents to work on becoming operational as soon as possible.  Customers will look forward to purchasing the new year’s licenses from their favorite agent.
  • The new URL is available for initial set-up and is not yet active:

The website is expected to be operational on 12/1/18.  Please make sure to use this site when testing that your system is pointed to the right site.

  • Agents will receive an email communication mid-November, providing information on how to set up users in the ELS test system.  Setting up users ahead will enable the information to be transferred later into production.  Some additional login information may also be provided at this time.  Please be sure that your primary contact is aware of the need to check email for these purposes.
  • A training video will be available to utilize for staff the week of 11/26/18.  Please visit the agent website at for the video.  Webinars will be provided as well on 11/27/18 and 11/28/18, which are designed primarily for managers and owners.  Details will be provided on the agent website and in subsequent communications.  We know this is a busy time for retailers and wish to reassure you that the system is very intuitive.
  • Instructions for transition, packing and return of the existing iPOS equipment, printer and cables, and a prepaid shipping label will be arriving just before the cut-over to the new system.  Expect these materials to arrive from Aspira (formerly Active Networks/Active Outdoors), the current contractor.

We welcome any further questions you may have and thank you for your support of this transition.  Please email questions to or contact agent support at 800-293-3762.
