Umatilla River

  • CLOSED to chinook salmon effective May 16 under emergency regulations.
  • Closure applies to the Umatilla River from the Hwy 730 bridge upstream to the Confederated Tribes of the Umatilla Indian Reservation boundary.
  • This emergency action supersedes the chinook salmon fishing seasons listed for the Umatilla River on Page 74 of the 2013 Oregon Sport Fishing Regulations.

The 2013 Oregon Sport Fishing Regulations (pdf) provide requirements for all zones. However, additional regulations may be adopted in this rule division from time to time and to the extent of any inconsistency, they supersede the 2013 Oregon Sport Fishing Regulations.
